Domestic Violence (DV)
According to Florida law 741.28, means any assault, aggravated assault, sexual assault, sexual battery, stalking, aggravated stalking, kidnapping, false imprisonment, or any criminal offense resulting in physical injury or death of one family or household member by another family or household member.
Any one person in a relationship who uses a pattern of behaviors to control another person. Domestic violence is also called intimidate partner violence (IPV).
